Smiður was founded in Ankara by Fornyrðislag and Scythian. Smiður is a Melodic Black Metal band with Nordic influences. Smiður's music explain the proud annals of not equal beings. Music is focused at the intact value of insulated and obscured soul of North. There were many member exchanges in the band. New line-up is that Cem Yılmaz (Fornyrðislag, Eren C. Sarı (Scythian).
