The Akheron was formed in the winter of 2004. The group had changed staff members somewhat abundant until 2006. They set out with Black Metal slogans. Their project has appeared like a light in a dark tunnel to take them straight to death. Their project is against all kind of commercial thoughts in Depressive Black Metal. They have moved direction to Depressive Black Metal creating songs inspired by depression, torture, philosophy, sorrow, nature, darkness, pain, blasphemy... The group project that started with Berat and Mesut, turned into a group with participation Safak , Sezer and they had worked this first release begins with the deceptively calm ''Martyr Of Eternity'' which is the first demo tape. After this demo, Safak left group and they have kept on their way with Gürkan who came us from a turkish band called ''Demonic Craft''. The band members quickly developed their project of Suicidal Ambient Depression and Atmospheric Dark. After three years from demo they have been recorded and will be released an album but they decided to release the album with second album which will record. They have released a track called ''Spiritual Collapse'' from first album due to impatient important humans in the winter of 2009. Currently they are working on their own songs for albums which will appear prospective in summer 2009. But the drummer has been joined the army as compulsory because of this they have worked rather slowly. They have been thinking of releasing that two albums in the same day in july 2009. The songs on the albums will be different hardly enough from the demo; having more depression and obscure atmospheric.
